Come and visit SE Thurston Fire at the 29th annual Christmas in the Park. It’s a great day of food, fun, family and Christmas spirit! The event is free. Stop by and visit Santa, then enjoy the bon fire, food, and hot cocoa!

SE Thurston Fire Authority (Yelm & Rainier Fire Department) was out in the city of Yelm to ensure the safety of Trick or Treat on Halloween night.
Chief Mark King, Lieutenant Ann Holeman, Firefighter/Public Education Coordinator Tony Brosco, and career and volunteer Firefighters/EMT were out in the community to make sure the children had a safe and fun Halloween.
The fire trucks and emergency vehicles were equipped with candy and Firefighters/EMT. The fire truck made a path through the neighborhoods of Yelm, firefighters making stops to hand out candy to kids.
The Yelm Firefighter IAFF Local 3626 and an anonymous group donated the candy.
The Seattle to Portland Bike Ride passes through Yelm, stopping at the Yelm Community Center on Saturday, July 15, from 7 am to 4 pm. The SE Thurston Fire Department will have a First Aid station at the Yelm Community Center.
