Bond Statements Committees

Southeast Thurston Fire Authority is seeking applications from Authority residents interested in being appointed to committees to write the “for” and “against” statements for the local voters’ pamphlet related to the Authority’s bond ballot measure to be considered at the August 4, 2026 election.

Interested residents should send their name, address, email address, phone number and committee name (or which position they represent) to: Mark King, Fire Chief, Southeast Thurston Fire Authority, 709 Mill Rd. SE, Yelm, WA 98597 or via email at chief1@setfa.org by April 27, 2026.

The Board will take action on the appointments at its April 27, 2026 meeting. Contact information for individuals appointed by the Board may be listed in the local voters’ pamphlet.
