Kevin Rademacher has been in the fire service since 1988, first as a volunteer in high school, then as an Air Force Firefighter serving proudly in support of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, and finally as a professional firefighter. In between his extensive fire experience and his local small business experience, Rademacher has the tools to work with the current Board of Commissioners to best serve the people of the Yelm community and make SETFA the strongest fire department possible.

Rademacher’s main focus will be to continue the Board’s work in lowering the ISO rating to help taxpayers to save money on insurance. In addition, he would like to examine possible solutions to reopen the Lawrence Lake Station without reducing service in other areas.
